Selkirk Regional Health Centre

The significant expansion of the Selkirk Regional Health Centre was completed in 2024. This expansion included increasing acute care inpatient beds by 30, expanding capacity in the emergency department, and enhancing Selkirk’s ability to treat and monitor patients. The expansion supported an increase in surgeries performed at the site, such as general procedures, gynecology, urology and endoscopy. The main floor addition was 28,627 sq. ft and included bariatric isolation rooms, 28 private rooms with washrooms, a physician lounge with lockers, lab storage and tech office, clinical team office, patient lounge and staff room and central care stations.
